Data deletion

Last updated 7 October 2026

You can remove Kasamo's access to your social accounts at any time and ask us to delete your data. This page explains how, and what happens. For more detail see the Privacy Policy.

1. Disconnect a social account in Kasamo

Workspace owners, admins and others allowed to manage accounts can do this straight away:

  • Open the workspace → Social accounts.
  • Open the account's menu and choose Disconnect.

The account's access tokens are deleted immediately, and Kasamo can no longer publish to it or read from it. Posts already published stay on the network. Posts still scheduled for that account will fail, with a message asking you to reconnect.

2. Remove Kasamo from Facebook

You can also revoke access from Facebook itself, even without signing in to Kasamo:

  • On Facebook, go to Settings & privacy → Settings → Business integrations (for Pages connected through Facebook Login for Business), or Apps and websites.
  • Find Kasamo and select Remove.

Once access is removed, the stored tokens stop working, and the account shows “Reconnect” in Kasamo. To also have us delete the stored Page details and post records, follow step 3.

3. Ask us to delete your data

Email office@kasamo.net from the email address on your Kasamo account, with the subject “Data deletion request”. Say whether you want us to delete:

  • a connected social account and everything we stored from it (Page or profile details, tokens, published post IDs and engagement counts);
  • a workspace (only its owner can request this): all its posts, media, comments, campaigns, activity history and connected accounts;
  • your user account: your profile, sessions and memberships. Workspaces you own must first be handed to another owner or deleted.

What happens next

  • We confirm the request comes from the account holder. We may ask you to reply from your account email.
  • We complete the deletion within 30 days and confirm by email.
  • Deleted data disappears from our rolling database backups within a further 14 days.
  • We may keep a minimal record when the law requires it, for example payment records for tax purposes, or a note that the deletion was carried out.
